As part of the group stage of the WINLINE Basket Cup international tournament, Serbia’s FMP will host Russia’s Uralmash in its home arena.
Time: 9:00 p.m. Moscow Time
Location: Serbia, Belgrade, “Zeleznik” Arena
Broadcast: Kinopoisk
FMP: The international tournament got off to a rough start for the Serbian team. In their opening home game of the WINLINE Basket Cup, the “Panthers” suffered a loss to Lokomotiv-Kuban, so the team is now motivated to redeem itself in front of its fans. At the same time, FMP is facing a tough battle in the Adriatic League, where it has had mixed results (2-3). It is crucial for the Serbs to use their home-court advantage to secure their first victory in the Cup and get back in the race to advance from the group stage.
Uralmash: The Yekaterinburg team also has nowhere to retreat: the “Factory Boys” lost their opening game in the WINLINE Basket Cup to UNICS and now find themselves in a position where a win is their only option. The tournament situation is compounded by a tough group featuring powerhouses Lokomotiv-Kuban and UNICS, where every slip-up could prove decisive. The situation is further complicated by an underwhelming start in the VTB United League, where the team currently holds a 3-4 record. The road game in Belgrade is an excellent chance to turn this rough stretch around, regain confidence, and stake a claim for a playoff spot.
