Zenit set a fast pace from the very start. Weakened by injuries and illnesses, PARMA held its own for the first 12 minutes, but Andrey Vorontsevich and Trent Frazier started a 12-0 run. The Ural team wasn’t ready for opponent tight defense, while the St. Petersburg team pulled away more. In the first half, Zenit shot 65.0% 2-PT shots and 53.8% three-pointers, won the rebounding (18-10) and led by halftime – 57:39.
