UNICS beats Igokea and advances to Final Four

UNICS defeated Igokea in WINLINE Basket Cup group stage game on the road – 88:72 (24:12, 22:20, 24:19, 18:21).

A win in Laktasi would guarantee UNICS a place in the Final Four. The Kazan team decided not to put off the main issue and secured a comfortable lead in the first quarter (24:12), which they finished with a rapid 9:0 run, led by Paris Lee. The difference in the level of organization was striking in the first half. The Russian club significantly outplayed its opponent in assists (15-6) and made less turnovers (7-14). The score was 46:32 by halftime.

Igokea was unable to bring back the intrigue. UNICS controlled the game and secured a confident win.
