UNICS played in the WINLINE Basket Cup at home arena for the first time. Marcus Bingham and Andrey Lopatin allowed the Kazan team to start with a 13:2 run. The dominant frontcourt trio, which also featured Jalen Reynolds off the bench, combined for 27 points on 12 of 18 shooting in 20 minutes. Despite only 2 three-pointers in 2 quarters, UNICS controlled the game and had a 15-point lead by halftime – 47:32.
Uralmash failed to revive the intrigue after the break. The Kazan team played clearly according to the score and secured their second win – UNICS is currently going 100% in the Cup.
