The game in Laktasi was the first in the WINLINE Basket Cup for Igokea, representing the Serb Republic within Bosnia and Herzegovina. Strahini Gavrilovic’s confident play allowed the hosts to start with a 14:3 lead. Uralmash recovered throughout the first half and managed to accomplish the task. Extensive rotation helped the Russian team to maintain a good rhythm, with Kirill Pisklov (10 points) coming off the bench to make an excellent contribution. The guests gradually found the shooting touch and ended up leading by halftime – 41:39.
The third quarter was equal and did not fundamentally affect the balance of game. The teams smoothly transitioned into a clutch, but even a nervous finish did not reveal a winner.
