«The main feature of the Cup – there is no right to make mistakes. When you only play 6 games, you can be eliminated after losing just 1 or 2 games. In contrast, in the VTB League regular season, it is still possible to compete for the title even after several losses.
Our task in the new tournament is to show our best. Unfortunately, not everything is going well for the team right now due to injuries, but we will do our best to perform as well as possible. Our motivation? Of course, to win the trophy. It’s the Cup, and everyone wants to win it».
