Lokomotiv Kuban center Royce Hamm will play against PARMA, where he played last season, for the first time in the WINLINE Basket Cup game.
– How is the mood in the team?
– The mood is great! We had a good win in Moscow, so now everyone has the right energy and the right attitude. Now we need to polish up some things, work on some details, and continue to rack up wins.
– How did you feel coming back to Perm?
– Mixed. I really like it at Lokomotiv now, but Perm will always be in my heart after the season I had and how people treated me here. It’s great to be back in this arena, and I can’t wait to see the Perm fans again – even if this time they’ll probably be rooting against me.
– In your opinion, has PARMA’s game changed significantly since you left?
– They have strong new players, and it is interesting to watch the team play from the sidelines. I believe they will continue to compete for the top spots, but of course, we will do everything we can to achieve what we came here for – win.
– Have you ever participated in similar mid-season tournaments before?
– Yes, last year when I played for PARMA. It was my first time, and we didn’t get very far [Royce is referring to the Russian Cup 2024/25]. Now, with Lokomotiv, I want to go as far as possible and win this Cup, because I definitely don’t have any trophies from tournaments like this.
